Tyler lyndon looks like a good stretch 4. 39% from 3, 83% free-throw shooter. 7 foot wing span and a 9 foot standing reach. Same standing reach as Kelly Olynyk and a 3 inch longer wingspan. Looks like a BS system player.

Yes. And he was one of the top shooters at the combine (no surprise)

His shooting stroke is a thing of a beauty

Can rebound, block shots...good bbiq

So could be a nice Jerebko replacement

I actually don't know much about Lydon other than that he is a shooter. If he is proficient at all of these things, why would he be available at our 2nd rounder? Is his perimeter d awful?

Questionable lateral foot speed, poor defender, plays in a zone. He can't shoot off the bounce. Basically a spot up shooter... A second round pick should have one skill his is spot up shooting. I've seen him in the 1st round in some drafts....

You just dont know where these late 1st/2nd round picks will end up...remember demetrius jackson? At one pt he was projected to go late lotto...

Lydon is not a shot creator... Not considered a great 1 on 1 defender (from perimeter to interior) ...but he is a terrific shooter...he also thinks the game the right way and is a good team defender/versatile (think jerebko)

Now I think once he adds mass, refines his body he can hang with off the bench pfs 1 on 1... And his shooting/ability to stretch could cause all kinds of chaos for opponents...

He could be a good "fit" under cbs system

He can rebound, alter shots....the effort is there.  Decent athlete..you can work with a prospect like this

DraftExpress has him at 25 and NBADraft.net has him at 22.  It is highly unlikely that he'd fall to 37.  When I watched him play, sometimes he'd look pretty good and sometimes he'd pull a disappearing act.  He's more athletic that I initially thought.

I like Bell a lot.

I also really like:

Jonathan Jeanne - C
7'2 with a 7'6.5 wingspan  :o
A little on the frail side, but who knows, could be the next Rudy Gobert if he fills out.

Sindarius Thornwell - SG
6'4.75 with a 6'10 wingspan
Loved him in the tournament this year.

Kyle Kuzma - PF
6’9.5 with a 7' wingspan
He had 20 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 4-5 2P, and 4-5 3P in 20 minutes during the 5 on 5 action at the Combine.

If Moritz Wagner a) stays in the draft, and b) is willing to spend a season or two in Europe, I could see him being an option.  He needs to develop strength and better floor awareness, but a stretch big who likes to bang inside has to be an attractive prospect, even if he comes with flaws.

Honestly I think Ainge will trade back / out of the 2nd round pick, similar to what he did with the Celts' early 2nd round picks last season.

Either that, or a draft and stash like Jonathan Jeanne.

With that said, I like Swanigan, Ojeyele, Alec Peters, and Bam Adebayo as options at that spot.

A multi-talented swing or big.  Look to replace Jerebko / Zeller / Mickey.

Apart from Horford, there isn't a big currently on the team that I feel strongly about keeping.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

The last thing that the Celtics need is for 3 2nd round picks to show up at training camp.  My guess is that Danny trades them for picks in 2024.
