Awful late game execution on both ends made that game winner possible.

not sure why he gave him so much cushion. Doesn't make sense.

Brad had GREAT plays down the stretch. And Bradley did the right thing, you don't press up on John Wall.

The hell you don't. In that situation press up all the way on him.

He's a 32% 3PT shooter and he was wayyyy behind the line. Press up and he'll drive on you and possibly kickout to Beal, a 40% 3PT shooter.

Hindsight is 20/20, but that loss hurt. I hope the team can get up for game 7.

You have to run him off the 3 point line. Make him take the 2

we were scared he would drive and score easily

Welp..I would have taken a tie game with boston having the last shot to win or OT

agreed. but that is what CBS wanted
LET'S GO CELTICS!

This. We played by the numbers, and John Wall, by the numbers, isn't really a reliable 3 point shooter, and logically its the correct thing to do.

No one could account the amount of intestinal fortitude of John Wall to take that shot. That's literally a "we win or lose, but it will be because of me" kind of a shot.

We got beat by a big time shot, by a player who was willing to risk it all. While I'm very disappointed in the outcome, I can't really be mad at that.

Well, I can be mad at the IT TO when no one helped him as he got trapped, leading to a Beal 3. But that's about it.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
awful officiating for us tonight. I don't usually get too upset by refs but they stole this one from us tonight.

Just some horrible calls at crucial stages.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

With 5 pt lead... Thomas gets blitz...he should have called a timeout instead of throwing the ball away

Was a great game.

Wiz got some major breaks, and Wall hit a very long shot at home to win it. It happens.

Gotta pick ourselves up and slap them down in game 7.

We can do it. We were the better team for most of the night.

Bradley had a great game, can't blame him for that. Wall hit a huge shot on a broken play where the Wizards had nothing left to go to. Got to take your hat off to him and get ready for game 7.

If anything, Celtics lost the game on that turnover by IT when they were up 5 with the ball. Beal hit a 3 out of it, and that was the turnaround in this game.

Yep we got beat by one great shot. We'll be back.

Yeah, does any one have the foul numbers for the 2nd half handy?

It's unfortunate, but I'm not worried going into game 7.  The Celtics were the better team all night, Wall just hit on a hail mary.  Must be nice.

I know Horford ended up making the shot, but should the Celtics have played for the last shot on that possession? The game was tied, and I believe the shot clock was turned off. The worst case scenario is overtime.
