On the brink of the ECF! Got me like:

If we make the ECF, our season is an automatic success, right?

Yes and no. If we give the Cavs a good series and steal at least two games, then I think it's unequivocally an excellent season. But making the ECF and getting swept by the Cavs in convincing fashion like the Raptors would still make me question where we're at a bit.

I don't think that happens, though. I think we actually make a series out of the Cavs series, and I think Washington would give them some trouble, too. Cavs are certainly favored, but I do think it will be a competitive 6 or so game series.

cavs should destroy us in 4. if series goes past 4 this is a FANTASTIC SEASON.

Unfortunately yes,  Cavs should throttle us. It shouldn't be close, though a couple of games might be competitive. The regular season is over. They're playing for real now.

We match up nicely. I won't at all be surprised if we take them to 6 or 7.

i will

I would not bet on Cavs throttling these Celtics.

ED MALLOY---This Inbred Opie Cunnigham Jerk was doing everything he could to keep the Bullets in this game....that was some Crooked old school reffing right there.

Ed is one of the many NBA refs from Cardinal O'Hara High School in Philly.

Other notable alums include Joey Crawford and Tim Donaghy. Mike Callahan is also from the same school.

Just a fun little fact.

Nice win and guys played great.

There was one instance in the 4th where Was got a mini-run and was frustrated at Olynyk for passing up shot after shot, or hesitating and burning precious time on the clock. He got bailed out by Smart a couple of times, but it got me wondering if Olynyk couldve scored more if he had IT's mentality.

it was truly pathetic and obvious, how he was calling this game---maybe his butt buddy Donaghy had some money on the point spread.

Tonight may be some of these guys' last game at the TD Garden in Celtics uniform.

That's a pretty pessimistic viewpoint.  Take it back.

Yeah, listen to salty.  We're going to win this one convincingly.

Salty knows best, but I'm very, very nervous about this one.

Mike

Salty definitely knows best.

I didn't watch much of the game, but have to assume Bradley increased his value tonight.  What a line despite the injuries.

What a win. Nothing like taking 99% of the pressure out of it.

Horford was BRILLIANT. Bradley was BRILLIANT. IT and Crawford were OKAY, PRETTY GOOD ON BALANCE. All our role players brought it. Washington did us a solid by being completely unprepared, but we still took it to them.

Next game, we finish em off and get back to the ECF!

I really think that Jaylen Brown played very well defensively especially in his first stint tonight. Smart was huge at key times as usual but Horford and AB were phenomenal.

One thing I don't understand is how they continually let Gortat play with his hands on anybody and everybody and he never gets called?

PSA: We have, in fact, not earned the right to play the Cavs yet.

Other than that, great game tonight.

Awesome to see how mature and down-to-Earth Brown is already. He knows how good of a situation this is for him.
