Per:

As is common each year, several of the expected top-of-the-lottery players will NOT be attending:

Lonzo Ball, Josh Jackson, Jayson Tatum, Malik Monk, Dennis Smith, Jr., Lauri Markkanen and Jonathan Isaac all have indicated they will not attend.

Perhaps more notable, is that prospective #1 overall pick Markelle Fultz currently IS expected to attend.

That's obviously a risky move.   By being measured against and scrimmaging with guys who may not even be expected to be drafted, let alone at the top of the first round, Fultz risks being 'exposed' or overshadowed and having his stock drop.

Yet somehow, just taking that risk might make me like him more.

Of course, he may just show up for measurements and interviews, like Jaylen last year.  That clearly did not hurt Jaylen.
NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.

I highly doubt Fultz plays in the games, however, I'm glad he's at least going in for the measurements, etc.  I wish there was a way the NBA could require that part of the proceedings, but glad the #1 guy will make an appearance.

DraftExpress identifies the 5 on 5 participants which don't include Fultz or Fox.  Too much risk for top prospects participating with no significant benefit.  Plus it would take slots away from guys that really need to showcase themselves.

Exactly, risk both in terms of potentially getting shown-up as well as potential injury.

So does this mean we can expect even better measurements from Fultz, and to a lesser extent less favorable measurements from Ball and the others?

We already know that Fultz has about 3" Wingspan advantage over Ball. And Ball has the height advantage.

Guessing Fultz has about a 37" vertical. ball is around 35"
