So, to highlight our problems starting off slow:

Quarters 2-4 we're tied in points with the Wizards. It's the 22 point deficit after one that is legitimately the only difference right now. Brad has to figure something out to get these guys off to a better start.

Getting the starting five right will help.

Who do you go with? I still say go with one of JJ or Brown, which allows IT to play on Porter. Dare him to win the game for them instead of Wall and Beal.

Either Jerebko or Brown should start the game in the next one. No more Green and Amir experiment.

Brad has to figure something out to get these guys off to a better start, which starts with the appropriate lineup. But the guys have to also take the initiative. It's just as much on them to actually play defense from the get-go.

Knowing this team, this butt whooping might have been the best thing for them.

I'd like to see him start Terry.

His quickness and length really bother Wall.   Washington wants nothing to do with the kid.

Yeah, stating the obvious.

But that 22-0 run is the difference between being down 22 and being tied now...  :P

someone had mentioned a while back that early leads are meaningless.

Brown is going to be a staple for us for next decade plus or until he is traded for George..I see glimpses of Wow to the thousandth degree! I was so wrong on his potential before last draft.

The problem is we're a jumpshooting team who can't rebound. So when are shots don't fall, it hurts us twofold because the other team gets the defensive board and gets out in transition. When the opposing team has a guy as good in transition as John Wall, it's just no bueno.

Well they are not entirely wrong.

All these suggestions on who to play and start next game tells you who has the player advantage (despite the 2-1 lead).

If Brown can tighten up his handle, it'll be nuts!

It feels like an eternity ago that Zeller was an real rotation player.

Maybe you go big lineup and try to establish a defensive mindset right from the start.  Brown at the 2, Jerebko at the 4.

I wonder if he ever sends Rondo a "hey big head" text.
