Celtics in 7.

home court ends up deciding this series. Both teams win a road game, but game 7 goes to Boston.
this was what I was thinking.

Gotta stick with my Celts in 7 prediction, though the Wizards can give the C's all kinds of problems.

The homerism in the poll results is pretty obvious though.

Celtics in 7.

My vote.  Washington is a terrible road team.

They didn't look terrible yesterday at Atlanta lol.

Series goes 7 games, vital parts to the series:

- Find a way to hide Thomas on defence (He can't guard Wall or Beal)
- Obviously rebounding issues against Morris or Gortat
- Scoring when Thomas isn't or is off the floor
- Punishing Wizards weak bench
- Force Wall to shoot three and not get to the rim or pass

We gotta be in his jersey there's a piece on the front page on defending Wall, when we've given him space he's burned us with a full head of steam. Pressure the hell out of him. If we slow him and Beal down we got a good shot to win this series.

Still though it'll be tough. I'm not buying this that their bench is weak we've let guys go off plenty of times. I'm already having nightmares of Bogdonovich and Porter killing us from three.

ESPN Insider Question

Quote
Who wins the series, and in how many games?

Herring: Wizards in 6. Brad Stevens and the Celtics looked as if they figured out everything after winning four straight over Chicago. But the Celtics' inability to stifle Rajon Rondo while he was healthy raises questions about how they'll stop the Wizards, who present more offensive threats than the Bulls. Boston will have to get more creative about how it hides Isaiah Thomas on defense. If the Celtics can't, or take too long to figure that process out, the Wizards should feel good about their chances.

Doolittle: Celtics in 7. This should be tight and terse, but Boston has more good players, a better defense, a better coach and home-court advantage.

Forsberg: Celtics in 7. The X factor here is Brad Stevens. Boston's coach was able to make adjustments and keep his team engaged after falling behind 0-2 to the Bulls. The Celtics enter this series with momentum, and if they can harness it early, then home court could be key. But I'm fascinated to see how Stevens makes adjustments, especially in how Boston defends John Wall and Bradley Beal, throughout the series.

Engelmann: Celtics in 7. With Vegas setting the spread at just -4.5 (in favor of Boston) for Game 1, I expect an extremely close series that'll most likely go to a Game 7. As Game 7s are most often won by the home team, I'm going with the Celtics, though Washington in six is the second-most likely scenario, according to my simulations.

Pelton: Celtics in 7. I'm tempted to say Boston wraps this series up sooner than expected, in five games, because I think Washington's weak bench and defense will be major issues in this series. But the Wizards have enough matchup advantages that they are likely to extend the series.

^^^THIS^^^

I would defend like this
AB on Wall
Green on Beal (don't have to worry about foul trouble for IT)
IT on Porter
Crowder on Morris
Horford on Gortat

Bring Smart in to defend Beal and sometimes put Crowder on Beal. Keep changing defenders on Beal so he's never comfortable. Let Rozier defend Wall at times too. Having a 4 guard rotation will really help in this series.

I don't think they have much of a bench. Smith, Bogs and Oubre are really it. Jennings doesn't scare anyone...no real backcourt help.

Celtics in 7.

I expect this to be a drawn out, chippy, back & forth street fight.  Ultimately, I think having home court might prove to be the difference.

I don't know who wins, but I expect it to go 7.

Like in the  first round I believe the Wizards are the more talented team, but I'm not sure our coach is that much better.

who knows. could be celts in 7 or wiz in 7 but the harry potter fans picking wiz in 5 are crazy. we are not laying down for 4 straight after today. we played far from our best and still won by double digits. if we can ever play 60 minutes of O and D we will be tough to beat!
LET'S GO CELTICS!
