Advancing to the 2nd round only helps our cases with George, Butler and future FA's!

Can't hurt.

Voted Clippers.  It really comes down to Lakers vs. Clippers and LAC will have a better team than LAL next year, even if Griffin is not there.  I think that is important for PG.  LAL has been the rumor but they need to get another elite player beside PG to really compete.

I voted Lakers.  I just get the feeling that he wants to play in LA, and the lure of a big deal in that city is more important to him than playing for a contender.

Something has always seemed off to me about George and his game.  Not sure if he has the "Celtic Pride", i say let him go to LA......though I suppose if he did come hear we could probably win him over!

PG is a Laker already. He's just waiting on the paperwork. That's why Bird left.

Unfortunately, I see Magic doing something extra crazy to land him even though George will be a free agent.

On the flip side,  the Pacers will have a hard time negotiating vs. Lakers as well if George point out says I will only agree to be long term in Los Angeles and for the Lakers. He could force them to literally take a pennies on the dollar deal that would dwarf what teams like the Celtics might be willing to offer. Without an agreement for long term, nobody will take a chance for a year like the Lakers did with Howard.

No Larry in charge of decisions anymore means no larger barrier to dealing with Lakers as well.

Magic would be like THIS if he went to the Clippers

I can't wait.  The issue is whether it is the Purple & Gold or winning a championship that matters to him.  If he wants a championship, the Lakers will need to add at least one more star in addition to PG.

I think George is a great fit Boston as a talent .....Boston Playoff success will certainly play a part in helping guys like George choose a team.  We need the length and scoring.   ......he would great with Al and IT.

I would NOT trade the # 1 pick ....rather Fultz for him.  Just can't do it. .....sorry

I suspect Lakers don't want to give up Fultz or Ball either to sign George.

Again ......I have to wait and see where we are at 1-4 ....to have a clear focus on who to go after.

Trading for George is a mistake. He will leave for the Lakers after 1 year.

Yeah, if its pick #1, forget it. Draft Fultz, then go hard after a FA.

That team would be so bad even with those two.

What's their bench exactly?

The Clippers will be over the cap with cap holds.  If they sign Paul they will have less than the max to offer PG in FA and no assets really.  If they don't sign him and sign Griffin they have little money to improve.  They are almost in a no win situation.... Blow it up or resign most if not all of of the big names.  Kyler has a pretty good article on their situation.   There best bet will be to do a S&T for Carmelo and that only works if Carmelo says I'm only going to the Clipper
