If the 1st picks is Fultz or Jackson ... Maybe not... unless Danny likes someone alot he can get at 8

Otherwise, i say yes....Ball and his dad is not coming here... Im on the boat now regarding his unorthodox shooting mechanics and inability to dribble going left and shoot. Inability to penetrate in the halfcourt

Not sold on zizic/yabu to play a significant role next season

Celts need to add better depth upfront

I wouldn't do this if we can draft a potential star, which WCS isn't and nº 8 pick is less likely to be than nº 1-2-3.

I may consider it if we are ****ed by the lottery and pick 4.

IF we were to drop down from 4, I'd rather target Minnesota at #6, and ask for Dieng + pick #6, and then I'd select Markkanen or Isaac.

I'd prefer to just keep pick the pick and use it on Fultz, Tatum, or JJ, however, because I see them as having star potential.

I don't understand this obsession with WCS.

No, I'm not giving up a top 4 pick for WCS and a late lotto pick.

No.

Take Fultz, Jackson, Tatum, Isaac, or Ball. All of whom will be better players than WCS or whoever else we'll get at 8th. We want to consolidate our assets. Not pick up more bodies. We already have a roster crunch as it is.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

they do but if we're using the #1 pick to get that depth it had better be for someone better than WCS

This draft class is about 7 players deep that can have great impact on teams. I'd much rather stay in the top 4 than move down to 8.

I would agree with that.  A higher seeded playoff team can't  do that.  But I see no way that the Kings would do that trade and I don't think we would either...

You'd move down no less than 4 spots for Willie Trill Cauley-Stein?!
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I think our 1st rounder next year gets you Cauley-Stien if you want him especially after the Kings draft a couple more centers this year!

Potential superstar for an energy big and a probable role player?

Nah man.

No. Not even considering it.

Nah man.

Pretty much exactly how I feel. I get WCS put up some decent numbers in the garbage time of the end of the Kings season but at best he would be a below average starter for us filling the Amir Johnson role. Moving out of top of the lottery for that makes no sense.

I don't have a huge problem with the idea in theory but in reality I'd probably want to get a good look at Zizic first and I also think we could do better if we wanted to trade
