I don't get these kind of proposals.

We are not competing with Toronto to win an NBA championship.

We are competing with the juggernaut Warriors, and the LeBron-led Cavaliers. Role players aren't going to get it done.

We should be trying to build a dynasty here, one that compares to the 80's C's or 90's Bulls. That means we need legendary talent, the type you usually get near the top of the draft.

Opportunities like this for high draft picks come once in a blue moon for this club, we can't afford to squander it by trading down.
