1. I don't want to trade him.

2. His value right now is his upside. His play right now doesn't really affect how his upside is viewed, I don't think.

3. As wdleehi said, I also expect him to reclaim a spot in the rotation before the playoffs are over.

No.

This is just silly. Do you realize Lebron James didn't even make the playoffs his rookie season?

I honestly feel like people are really going out of their way to find something negative to dwell on after a couple of nice wins. Gerald Green played a great game and we won two games in a row on the Road fairly convincingly and we are worried about whether our 20 year old rookie's trade value has taken a hit for playing less in a 4 game stretch? I mean... I really don't understand why this would be the question or what people want to talk about...

I expect him to re-emerge the longer the Celtics play.

Me too.

I don't think his trade value has decreased.  Rather, an opportunity for his trade value to increase has not been fulfilled.  But I would put his trade value at roughly exactly where it was two weeks ago.

I don't think it really matters. I don't think he's getting traded this off-season. He may also get his minutes back if C's advance to the next round.

He's a rookie, I don't think it would be reasonable to expect him to contribute in the playoffs.

Danny will not hesitate to trade him if it bringgs back a star like PG13...however I know DA will not pull the trigger if there is no commitment from PG to extend...I will not want a yr rental of George.

This is just silly. Do you realize Lebron James didn't even make the playoffs his rookie season?

LeBron dropped a 21 pts, 5.5 Reb, 6 ast line as a 19 yr old rookie...

Not really apples to apples.

Still I think Brown's value is about what it was before the playoffs started. Rookies typically don't fare so well in the playoffs, especially legit one and done rooks.

He had been, though, in the regular season, here amd there. In a perfect world, it was Brown who gets moved to the starting lineup and has games like one Gerald had yesterday. But I don't think him sitting hurts his value. There's still time for him to be significant, if players get into foul trouble, if games go to OT.

Just checked Lebron had 24 points, 9  assists, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in his FIRST GAME coming out of High School.

Wrong player example but stats from players on lottery teams should be taken with a grain of salt. You have guys like Monta Ellis and Rudy Gay averaging 20 PPG or more and their teams started to get better without them.

Even Giannis was worse, averaging similar stats to Jaylen on a worse team. So was KG.
