I've given this a lot of thought due to the sensitivity of the issue.  After carefully reviewing Jimmy's comments, I believe he is in the wrong; however, it would behoove Smart to steer clear of the potential danger associated with Butler and his crew.

As others have mentioned, Jimmy's no stranger to thug life:



He rolls deep, and doesn't keep the kindest of company:



While I can't confirm, there have been rumors that he can get alarmingly cranky at times:



TMZ has also reported potential gang affiliations (e.g., playful gesture or gang sign?):



...and though we are speculating, a Chicago-based gang clad in pastel certainly seems possible:

Smart, you're a tough guy, our true enforcer since Perk's reign in the paint.  But given the danger associated with this particular situation, I strongly recommend you fall back.  Best wishes, and thanks for all you do.
