The Butler needs to tend to his BULLS - not the Celtics.

Marcus (and BOS) got this.

The series isn't over but they had two good opportunities to put us away.

BOS is ready, now.

The guy lost, he was upset. no reason to take his words too seriously.

I do like watching Jimmy Butler play, though.

Dude has an Old-School game and is smooth without being flashy.

I knew he was good, but not THIS good.

I've given this a lot of thought due to the sensitivity of the issue.  After carefully reviewing Jimmy's comments, I believe he is in the wrong; however, it would behoove Smart to steer clear of the potential danger associated with Butler and his crew.

As others have mentioned, Jimmy's no stranger to thug life:

He rolls deep, and doesn't keep the kindest of company:

While I can't confirm, there have been rumors that he can get alarmingly cranky at times:

TMZ has also reported potential gang affiliations (e.g., playful gesture or gang sign?):

...and though we are speculating, a Chicago-based gang clad in pastel certainly seems possible:

Consistent with the common gang symbol (i.e., assorted flowers) shown here:

Smart, you're a tough guy, our true enforcer since Perk's reign in the paint.  But given the danger associated with this particular situation, I strongly recommend you fall back.  Best wishes, and thanks for all you do.

He dresses better than Westbrook, too.

Someone has been lying to Russell with some of those threads he's been styling.

I'm wary of what CHI could still want for Jimmy but he's got Celtic DNA in him IMO.

Tough is subjective. Also, I doubt most of you have seen real gang members, especially one of today. You would be surprised at how different they look compared to the stereotypes.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Yeah, I like the guy honestly.  Just get a kick out of the comments and posturing of these guys with how much the league has changed.

These guys aren't hard.  Jimmy's probably on a 'juicing' diet and has a private yoga instructor.

I'm just saying they both grew up in a rough neighborhood. Butler didn't have a house for god sakes. The dude is pretty tough. Why are you hating on Butler anyway? I'm sure you didn't feel this way at the deadline, haha. Man, relax. It's all good. These guys are just playing mind games with each other. Enjoy the series.

Watch the video of the scuffle and tell me he was not staying away.  I was never a big fan of Butler.  From what I saw, Butler did most of his playing mind games when it was safe to do so , in the presser.

So true, Butler has been punked by a variety of people since he been in the league, Nene, Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce, and mason plumlee just to name a few

Marcus can wipe the floor with Bulter in a fight .  It would be a pit bull grabbing a poodle.

You deserve the Pulitzer Prize for this. Nobel Prize, too. :)
