Sign Hayward to max

I don't give up a top 3 pick for Drummond, but if it falls to #4 I would probably do it. Or work something out with brk 18 and pieces(AB/Smart, picks)

IT.            / Fultz or Ball
AB.           /  Jaylen
Hayward. / Crowder( may have to move him if Hayward comes in)
Horford.    / Yabu
Drummond / Zicic

Gordon Hayward isn't making anybody a contender - anybody who things otherwise is living in a dream world.

No, I don't think so.

Oh, I'm sorry - are they a contender and I just didn't see it?

On a scale of 1-10, how likely are they to beat San Antonio or Golden State?  I'm going to settle on maybe 2 or 3 out of 10, at best.

Gordon Hayward is the wing equivalent of Al Horford.  He's good at lots of things, he's great at nothing, and he's not carrying anybody to an NBA finals any time soon.  The only way any team will ever be a contender with Gordon Hayward is if he's your third best player.

Blowing $50M + in cap space on Al Horford and Gordon Hayward is a very good way to ensure that this team is the Al-Horford Hawks (i.e. early playoff exits) for the next 3-4 years.

This. Drummond has a freakish combination of size and leaping ability, to the extent where he can get rebounds just by outjumping the opposition. Everything else is a disaster.
Shooting: zero.
Ft shooting: literally the worst ever in the NBA.
Leadership: zero.
Maturity: zero. He's an oversized, pouting child.
BBIQ: zero. He has no positioning instincts or anticipation on either side of the floor.
Defense: zero. Has the physical tools, but they are useless without BBIQ.
Motor/Inner motivation: very low. This was a red flag back in the draft.
Physicality: zero. Hates contact. Doesn't use his physical tools at all.
Clutchness: zero. Disappears in big games, also before he has to be benched because of the free throw issue.
To summarise; Drummond is most likely the least talented NBA player. Put him in an average body and he wouldn't even be a top 100,000 player in the world.
