The moment could really swing in our favor with this win. But most importantly, Brad made crucial adjustments in game 3 that destroyed the Bulls in their home court. So what does the team needs to do to take back the series?

Execute plays with precision and focus

You know what happens when they play half-heartedly both in the playoffs and regular seasons. They commits careless turnovers. Stop playing unselfish basketball by chucking contested shots.

Take the most efficient shots

Take the shots when you're open, but it doesn't always have to be a 3. If 3's are not falling, they should attack the basket more and draw fouls.

Run more plays for Horford

Horford has been really effective, thanks to the PnR plays ran through him. It also helped Lopez sag off the paint and create space for the perimeter.

Less Olynyk, more Jerebko

Jelly is just not meant for playoff basketball. He can't handle the physicality and just too unathletic to combat Bull's big men in the paint. Jerebko isn't that talented, but at least he doesn't shy away from physicality and brings energy off the bench.

Terry Rozier

Yeah, I never expect him to peak at the right time. He seems to have those "rondo-streak" in the post season. He's been effective in this series, even during the game 2 where they lost the game. He should have the majority of bench minutes along with Smart.

Wade is as smooth as they come.  He's not barreling anywhere.

Sounds boring but: defense and stops. Limit turnovers. Limit offensive rebounds.

We have enough firepower to win. But we can't let them (particularly their role players) get comfy.

What do you mean Olynyk is not meant for playoff basketball? Dude already gave the best playoff contribution.

Did you watched the game? Dude got killed in the glass and got abused by Butler in the dribble penetration. Too slow to rotate and not enough length and leap to contest shots. Everytime he enters the game, Bulls makes a run. Always in the high post when he can't even rotate fast enough and chase down slashers to the rim.

This is not just a baseless criticism. He's been terrible the whole series, especially at the defensive end.

Olynyk played well overall in game 3. One or two bad turnovers and had a tough time defending Butler on the high pick and roll but rotations were very good overall and his shooting/ball movement was excellent. We need him to play like this if we hope to make it to the ECF- or even win this series. His spacing is just crucial to our bench offensive success. I like him out there with Jerebko at the PF and KO at the C.
Great shooting and versatile defense on pick and roll.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

5 points is not much of a factor. Even Jerebko can put up those numbers and he had a better stats in lower minutes (6 pts, 3 rbs in 10 minutes. Kelly only had 5 pts, 1 rb and terrible defensive plays in 14 minutes. If he's not hitting shots, he's basically useless. At least Jerebko can hustle and grab boards.

IMHO that is the key.
The team knows how to move the ball with purpose. They know how to find a good shot

When they rush and and go one on one besides IT they fail miserably. I can remember a few cases where Jae tried some hero ball and his finishing was very ugly.

He has looked poor on defense quite a bit.   His shooting has been nice.   KO is not a world beater, nor will he ever be one.   He is soft and does not possess the best footspeed.  Sometimes his high basketball IQ can make up for this with anticipation.   But it is clear that he has zero respect from other players, they love to drive and challenge him when he is on defense nor the refs.

THE KEY TO THE SERIES
We have to play with our backs to the wall with this kind of desperation.  We are not always going to shoot that good folks.  We shot like 46% from the three, Horford played really aggressive.  So we may have to even play harder.

The Gerald Green effect. It's real. Not sure I can quantify it but I'd stick him in the lineup again and see what happens lol.

This game still doesn't address the big man issue.  We might make it out of this series, we might not but in either case this team has a major big man need.  DA HAS to address this need this off season or we will be living in this mediocre to good world forever.  Green is not the answer although he may help this series.  We caught another break with Rondo getting hurt.  I am not so sure if he isn't the X factor in this series.  If he is on the floor last night running things it's a whole different ballgame.   Anyway DA needs to address our big man issue.  I don't want to hear about one more guard all off season.  I want to hear about the next great big man to come to the Celtics and lead them to a championship because it isn't going to happen with this roster as it is currently constructed.

3 main keys are:

1. Rondo out - check

2. Somebody PLEASE block out Lopez!! - work in progress

3. Somebody stop the 65 year old Wade please - still waiting

We can live with Butler and Zipser and Portis and anyone else if we can take care of #2 and #3

He's going to always be difficult to box out but without Rondo yesterday they had a ton of trouble getting Lopez the ball close to the basket. In the first quarter they turned it over twice within a minute trying to force feed him the ball, late in the shot clock, 19 feet away from the basket.

For large stretches of the game Lopez was killing them out there and only ended up playing 21 minutes.
