ever since his 1st season here the dude has completely stopped being aggressive on offense, specifically taking it to the basket.

watching this team play average is excruciating and nauseating. someone on this team needs to take it upon themselves to take it to the freaking basket!

I don't trust AB or anyone else for that matter to do it so it's gotta be crowder.

He's missing some open look 3s tonight. Frustrating.

I'd like to see some drives to the hoop as well.

He's just not a starter on a playoff team.  He will be great coming off the bench for us next year with whoever we can get to replace him.

He's been a lackluster since he hurt his ankles last season.

Hey Brad  here's an idea play Brown more. Eleven minutes is a joke, he's better than Crowder period, Brad just loves vets tho.

been playing elite D too.

You mean back at making dumb decisions like commiting turnovers in crunchtime.

he has never been a stud in those areas.

He missed some big threes (it happens) he also made some big threes.

Butler didnt seem to have much success against him and he did a nice job driving to the rim with purpose in the 4th.

that is what glorified role players do.  Crowder isnt an all star and is at best a 5th starter level player on a title team.  You can't reasonably expect much more than he is giving.  If you do it is a you problem not a Crowder problem

Kind of agree. Took him out after a bad defensive rotation, and played very little after. Doubt he would have made difference tonight, but we can't try to win game with Marcus taking 3 point shots.

Jae Crowder, Celtics fans love to overrate him. I'm not sure who gets overrated more from this fan base him or Smart. These players are a dime a dozen. I love when fans say they wouldn't include them in trades that would bring a top player here.

Isn't Brown shooting like 40% from 3 this year? Brown was 2-2 in this game but only got two shots and only played 11 minutes. Brad also kept yanking the kid in and out like a yo-yo. Green only played 6 minutes and we needed buckets. Smart and Crowder were a combined 7-21.

As much pain as Isiah Thomas was obviously in today, it looked like the loss of his sister affected his teammates more than him in terms of the game. Crowder was invisible in the first half. He plays on emotion and I'm sure this impacted him today.
