Wiow.

Life is bigger than any game. I support any decision IT makes in regards to this series. Take all the time, don't take any time, whatever's best for him and his family.

100% agree. I expect him to play, but if he needs to be there with his family, I support his decision.

RIP Chyna Thomas. 22 is way too young.

this and the todd heap tragedy of his daughter very sad

What happened to his daughter?

Heap accidentally and fatally ran her over with his truck in their driveway.

[dang].

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I don't expect him to play he has more important things to worry about.

Condolences to IT and his Family.

Terrible. 22 years isn't enough.

I hope IT takes the time and space he needs.

Brad is with IT at his home per Mark Murphy.

That's very cool.  Ultimate prep time, and Brad is prioritizing his player's well-being.

Our Cs team is so tight, I can see the whole team, DA and all, scoot out of town Tuesday night after Game 2 and head to Washington in support of IT.

Game 3 in Chi on Friday night.

As many have said on here, family first, and if he misses a couple of games (which I think is unlikely, but possible), everybody understands, and if they don't, that's their problem.

Losing a sibling, at any age, let alone 22 is tragic.

Nice to see all the empathy and IT love on this board. He deserves it.

Yep. I'm glad Brad is that type of person. It helps to explain why his players love him.

I'm not sure if there has ever been a precedent for that, but that would be a pretty special response from every one within.

When IT returns to the parquet floor at the Garden, whether it be tomorrow or Tuesday or next season, he is going to learn what Boston Strong is all about and how he is a member of a community, a family, that will be there for him, as he has been for us since he became a Celtic. The crowd will be unbelievable...just watch and see.

Yeah, and now Murphy is saying that the team may not even know until game time.
