Isaiah Thomas' sister just passed in a car accident back in seattle. Its a shame with all the success He's recently had in his basketball career probably high off life and this happens. Gotta feel terrible for the guy. Thoughts and prayers to Isaiah and his family during this rough time. https://www.instagram.com/p/BS7HqOzhH-f/

What a horrible tragedy. Thoughts and deepest condolences go out to the Thomas family. Suddenly playoff basketball doesn't seem all that important.

Terrible news. Hope IT and his family are doing alright. Knowing him, he'll use it to fuel an even greater playoff performance tomorrow.

Tragic. Absolutely tragic.

I think Danny and Brad will treat this the right way. Give Isaiah all the time he needs. If he wants to skip game 1 or 2, by all means he should. Family over basketball.

That said, Isaiah strikes me as a guy who will use basketball to help get through this.

I couldnt even blame IT if he missed games for this.
This kind of tragedy can utterly derail someones focus, and even in the real world going to your job would be a stretch.

Stay strong IT, stay strong.

Awful. Just awful. Hopefully Isaiah's okay. It's hard to care about something as trivial basketball during times like these.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Prayer for the Thomas family. May her soul rest in peace, and may God give the family the strength to bear the loss of their loved one. Amen.

If he flies home to Seattle the C's will probably lose the series but I wouldn't care a bit. A kids game doesn't mean a thing compared to family.

Honestly the playoffs dont matter compare to this.  I cant see him playing tomorrow, if he wants to play and use it as some sort of therapy or tribute or what his sister would have wanted then thats fine but IT do what you have to do.

How terrible for him.

There is always next year to try again, Celtics can't win without him .

Family is first.
