http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2703782-kristaps-porzingis-reportedly-skipped-knicks-exit-meetings-frustrated-with-team

So Porzingis skipped exit interviews with front office personnel due to the Knicks drama and dysfunction this year. He also seems to have publicly sided with Carmelo in the Jackson feud, and there are whispers that he wants out of NYC when Melo goes.

So with that being said, should Danny offer up the Brooklyn pick for him, and how much more would it take along with the Brooklyn pick?

If it was something like the Brooklyn pick (probably have to be top-2) and some combination of Rozier, Yab, and the Memphis pick, I'd probably do it. Porzingis would perfectly slide into both our current and long-term needs, and he'd give us another reliable scoring, shooting, and defending big to add to our lackluster rotation of bigs.

I said yes, because I would trade it if not #1.

Edit: nothing more than that.  Wiggins-for-Love is the model for any trade.

Easily a yes, regardless of where the pick lands. He is not only as talented as anyone in the top 5 of the draft, he also fills several needs for us.

If it was a straight swap, Nets pick for KP, then it would be hard to say no.

I actually have concerns over KP's health.  He played 72 games his rookie season, and only 66 this year.

He is listed at 7'3"....Guys that size seem to be more injury prone.  Not saying he should be given that label yet, but he wouldn't be the first guy his size to have a career of nagging injuries.

Still...a pick for KP?  Tough to pass on that...

I will give them a package of Mickey, Zeller, Young, and Rozier. Maybe throw in Boston 18 and the Memphis Pick.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
100% I'd trade the Nets pick this year. Along with anyone not named Thomas, Bradley, Smart (although I'd honestly do Nets pick and Smart for KP). Crowder, Horford, and Brown. And Zizic because I am buying him being the Cs backup center for years to come. And 'Nets 2018 pick'. That stays too. But yeah even if it's number 1 I'd rather have KP than Fultz.

No.

KP is overated. Go look at his gamelogs.

Not for Fultz.
Not for Tatum.

And the others I might do a swap of picks and throw in Rozier
