I want to see this guy get a shot at making the team.   He has earned it.  Dude has the correct attitude .

I'm for waving Mickey , he is worthless.

I cant say I've watched much Red Claws during the season, but I have watched the three playoff games with the Fort Wayne team. Mickey, Nader and Yabusele were by far the most consistent players. Jalen Jones also put on a showing. In this regard, Mickey is frustrating as he cant seem to translate at the NBA level, and I wonder what the problem is...

What was most notable was the inconsistency with Demetrius Jackson who basically sat the whole second half of the last game after a generally miserable first half

Could a franchise be setup any better than this. I like Nader, I'd like to keep him and let him replace Jerebko next year.

-#1 seed
-potential #1 pick
-cap room
-2 stashed players
-1 DL ROY

If for some reason Rozier is dealt, I think Jackson could step in to that spot.

Congrats Ainge...continue to be patient. Think long, think wrong. Trust your eyes and your scouts.

I agree, but Ainge has made some mistakes, as anyone would, nobody can be flawless at drafting. James Young is a bust, and Rozier looks like he is one too

well, labeling players busts at those places in the draft seems a bit of a strained argument to me. but i understand your basic points.

as for rozier, i think it is too soon to judge. he is obviously talented and has had some very good outings. right now he is inconsistent and too often decides to play hero ball. in college, that worked. on the celtics? not so much.

i think rozier will have a nice career as a bench/rotation player. but probably not with the celtics.

I like Nader but really don't see him as a replacement for Jerebko. Jerebko gives best value at the 4, on both ends, Nader is  3 - a better ball handler, with a better offensive ceiling than Jerebko - but not someone who is going to guard 4s or bang with bigs. I think Nader's defense is an open question...Nader could take the Gerald Green/ James Young roster spot

That's good news, and it keeps him confident and hungry. I liked him in summer league last year. Hey... I'm all for trying to get players with normal positional size and length.

I'd like to see him get a shot with the C's. Certainly nothing wrong with giving him a chance during the summer, and in preseason.

Here's the list of previous D-League ROYs. We're not exactly looking at an all-star team.

Yikes! Not great, Bob.

Still, this is better than him not being rookie of the year, right?

Still don't think James Young is a bust, but we'll see what happens when it comes down to keeping him. I actually think he'll sign a team friendly deal, to prove his worth, and I think Ainge would be wise to do so.

Danny has proven to be a great 2nd round drafter over the years.

It would be better if he was good enough to not have to spend a full year in the d-league.
