  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
What price do you think hes worth, and whats the most would you be willing to give up?

I think while he won't be able to play the 4th, he would provide us plenty of chances to come back with Isaiah Thomas's 4th quarter crunch time performances.

Is the glass half-full or half-empty?
It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

Nope. While I understand the value that he would add to the team, I don't want to pay big bucks to a player who can't play the last five minutes of a close game because of his free throw shooting.

I noticed how hack a Shaq never really worked. I'd look at the money side of things. I think he's worth a ton. Not that many players can put up 20, 15, 2, 2 every game.  That should build you a lead. Put a competent free throw shooter in at the end of the game if you have to.

If Drummond could just shoot 50% from the line...

Price tag is an issue but heck yes I would love Drummond on this team over Amir and Olynyk. Imagine a two-headed monster of Drummond/Zizic..

Wow. I just checked his on/off splits this year and they are AWFUL on the defensive end.

Opponents average 101 points per 100 with him off the court...and 112 with him on.

EFG% goes from 48% (off) to 54% (on).

And get this, opponents Reb% is 47% with him off the court, and 49% with him on the court.

Overall his net on/off is a -12. The Pistons outscore their opponents by 6 pts with him of the court, and get outscored by 6 with him on the court.

Some of his other defensive metrics look good, and I'm not an expert on the Pistons, so maybe there's some explanation for the above. But those numbers do not say "blow your salary cap room on this guy."

Have always loved his game but NOT for what the Pistons would probably ask or expect for him.

No. I prefer Hayward as a FA or retaining Amir/Kelly/Jerebko. Don't think he fits our system.

I don't know the price tag he'd command but I imagine it's something close to what the Magic received for Dwight. I think Drummond would be a legit force in our team. I haven't thought of which pieces I'd wanna trade for him yet though

I think Drummond would be a great acquisition.

Will NEVER happen......not a Stevens' type player.

Yeah, his rebound numbers are terrible!   JK

He is not a skilled big man but he is an elite rebounder at  13.8 RPG.

Agree .  He is old school 70's Celtic  player .  Tommy s kinda guy and mine too.

Still he would be incredibly useful in some games ........

Like one day we are going to have to deal with Davis , Townes ,Embiid , Cousins on contender teams .......having Drummond would be nice to offset their size.
