Much closer so thread will gain much more action if people realize how close it is.

TEN DAYS TILL THE LOTTERY

This is perhaps the most important day of the season to the future of the Celtics.   My heart is already pounding in anticipation.  I just wish the Lakers were not a factor.  Laker luck is dominant.

Only players  i want are tatum and fultz, and there is a very high percentage tatum is there at 4....still getting 4 would be the worst

I just did the Tankathon simulator. We were number 2, landing behind, of course, the Lakers.

And we thought that simulators had no correlation with what will actually happen...

That's actually the only combo that might make me fine with #2, since I think there's a real chance the Lakers would take Ball.  Emphasis, obviously, on might.

I just ran it with us getting #2 as well, and Dallas jumping up to #1.

I'm with you guys. I've always assumed that the Celtics will not get the top pick. I will be completely happy if they end up with Tatum at 3 or 4.

I just did the ESPN draft machine and the Celtics took Fultz with the #1 pick!  No more messing with that machine for me...like Markelle I am one and done!(Fyi, Lakers took Jackson at #3)

If you did, you'd either be hoping Embiid gets injured again or wishing him good luck in the lottery.   The latter I'd agree with to a point since I want the Lakers to lose their pick.
