Celtics face the nets (worst team in NBA) and bucks
Cavs face heat and raptors.

Predictions?

Given that the Cavs own the tiebreaker, the odds are in their favor of winning the first seed.

Either way, the Celtics own home court advantage in the first two rounds. In the ECF, the Celtics probably loose to the Cavs regardless of HCA. If any other team makes the ECF then the Celtics once more have HCA.

In my mind, whether they get first or second seed is not a big deal for the Celtics.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I think the Celtics get the Bucks on Wed night, and the Cavs lose to the Raptors. It is a nice accomplishment for this team that they are even competing with Cleveland over the course of 82 games.

For a rebuilding effort, Danny should be commended.

1st seed is as good as ours.

I could see the Cavs losing to the Heat but us losing our final game to the Bucks to still fall to two

That's basically how we've done things all season long, so yeah, I can see that happening.

I bet our starters rest or play minimum minutes this week, so it's certainly possible.

Milwaukee should be set in the playoff seeding at that point, so I'd imagine that several of their guys sit out.

Cleveland.

They will win out. We will too.

Boston will have to win out and Cleveland will have to lose tomorrow at Miami (which is a real possibility) for the C's to get #1.  Because, if it comes down to the final game and Toronto is 1 up on Washington, since they own the tiebreaker with Wash, you better believe they will rest EVERYONE and lose to Cleveland so they can get Boston in the 2nd round instead of Cleveland.

We owe the Bucks a whipping.   That's all.

LeBron can't take any time off if he wants home court advantage .

I think the Celtics should make him EARN it!  ;D

My thoughts exactly. Fortunately for us, the Heat have to win tomorrow night, so that won't be an easy game for the Cavs. If the Cavs need to beat Toronto on Wednesday, I don't see them letting that one get away at home when Toronto doesn't have anything to play for.

When it comes to the big picture, I agree with you. Don't think we can beat Cleveland in a seven game series with both teams healthy, regardless of HCA. I'd still love to get the top seed, though, because I think it can help us extend a hypothetical series with Cleveland an extra game, which helps our perception to free agents this summer.
