A certain ranking system projects him as a potential superstar.
yeah it has him as like the third best prospect in the last decade or something crazy.

for me its Fultz-Jackson-Tatum-Ball

I dont want to hear any other name.

I'd add Dennis Smith to that list.

Dude is just so freakishly athletic and he's got good enough feel for the game that it's going to be a crazy steal for whoever gets him.
TP. Dennis Smith Jr is going to be a great steal for whoever gets him.
I like Fox better.

There is a guy whose name rhymes with Trill Bimmons who loves the kid.

I want us to take one of 5 names on draft night. (in order of preference)

Fultz, Jackson, Tatum, Isaac, Ball

Monk is not on that list.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

I think we have the same ranking

Score-first guards are such a crapshoot; if the Celtics drop to 4th and Fultz/Jackson/Tatum are off the board I'd almost rather them take Isaac over Ball or Monk.  I'm really high on Fox too and think he's probably the real #4 guy here, but he's not someone the Celtics could really use.

If Ball drops to 4, I guaranty that we will either draft him or package him for a really good player in a trade.  We will not draft Isaac. Too raw.

I've got concerns about Monk. He didn't pass or rebound much this season, he's undersized for a SG, and he's got a negative wingspan according to Draft Express.
The official team wingspan numbers for Kentucky seem suspect. Monk has been measured for height and wingspan 10 times since 2012. Other than the official Kentucky measument the shortest wingspan he's had is 6'5. That USA basketball and Nike Skill academy measured him 6 times from 2013 on and 5 of those measurements were 6'6 (the other was 6'7). I think his wingspan is closer to 6'6 than a negative.

Fox had the same issue wingspan issue after being measured by Kentucky.  UK had him at 6'4.5 but every other measurements taken back to 2014 are 6'6 or above.

Also, I agree with the poster who said they aren't interested in anyone not named Fultz, Jackson, Tatum or Ball.

Hmmm, that's interesting.  I mean, when was the last time ESPN was wrong about who we would take with a top 5 pick?
I'm bitter.

We need a selfish, killer mentality scorer who wants the big shots and will take them. I think that could be Monk. We've got a lot of versatile guys who can pass. Although I agree we need rebounding, I don't care about a SG getting huge rebounding numbers. I want a straight killer on offense that's not named IT.

I saw this too. Doesn't even seem average for his height.

Luckily DA goes fo the wingspan guys  ;D
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I think the wingspan is BS, it looks long, and I believe his vertical is not 40" either. We will see the truth soon enough.

I said a while back he's Avery Bradley on steroids.

Except AB came into the league as a defender and can clearly rebound for this size.

I agree ,   Trade Ball or draft Fox

Tatum game reminds me of a younger Horford.

just played lotto again

Celtics picked #1 3 out of 4. Only upset was Denver and they picked Ball.

Lol, I tried 4 times and the Celtics got the #4 pick everytime. (Monk).

I'm cursed!
Not a NBA Monk fan .   One trick pony and looks like the next James Young
Yeah .....I got that too.....on one of my visits....with teams like Knicks , Denver , Magic winning the the 1 st pick and Celtics fourth......I just have incredibly bad luck with such .....why I never go to Vegas or play lottery tickets .   I would loose if I was the only person in a one man lottery draw.

Other words .....Danny better be dang sure about the #4 pick .....it seems the Celtics destiny .

All those lower pick teams that got a 1-3 pick were showing to take Ball......Knicks , Denver , Suns Philly. ......unless DA and CBS fall in love with him during try out s I don't see them drafting him in top four.  I'm also convinced Lakers will draft Fultz over Ball if they get the chance.
