Can't wait for the draft. This team is just embarrassing. No heart, no pride.

I don't understand why.  What happened?

The success went to their heads. They started expecting it instead of fighting for it.

True dat.

Kelly ends up on the short end of a lot of tough calls, but he's also consistently a half-step behind on defense which leads to him reaching and lunging way too often.  When refs see this, they blow the whistle.

It's up to him work on that.

Battling back slowly.  Where was this effort earlier?  We're clearly not good enough to play lackadaisically at any point in the game.

Yes Hortford,  back to the basket is your friend.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

We probably come back and win this game, but it's pretty clear that we still are in a bad way right now.

I don't know what Brad has to do about this defense, but something has to be done. We're just not fired up to play for it. And being this close to the playoffs, that's a problem, and I'm not sure that we're capable of just "flipping the switch" defensively for the playoffs.

I think that's the plot to Rocky III

Kelly leads the league in cheapies picked up.

We just have no pride in our defense anymore. The dramatic shift from the last two years to this year is just astonishing.

Really astonishing.  I think we underrate Sullinger's contribution to that.

Yes, he rebounded and took charges well.

Unlike Ko
, who looks like a bull fighter on defense.

KO is first or second on the team in charges drawn...

That just means that noone but Marcus likes to take charges.

...and Kelly. He's tied for 14th league wide at drawing them.

I get that you hate Kelly, but taking charges is one of his strengths. Suggesting that he's bad at it is disingenuous.
I'm bitter.

Except we won't have a championship at the end.

That's what Lamar Ball was talking about.  ;D

Those are such cheap calls. I know IT does it all the time, too, but I wish that crap would stop altogether.
