The Celtics need scorers. Someone who can create for themselves and score the basketball.

With that said let's rank the best scorers in one of the best drafts in a long time.

 #1 Markelle Fultz
 #2 D. Fox
 #3 Jason Taytum
 #4 Malik Monk
 #5 Dennis Smith JR
 #6 Josh Jackson

Now I would rather have Jackson then a couple players Listed before him but we are just talking offensively.

As far as fit goes for the Celtics.

 Fultz
 Tatum
 Jackson
 Monk

Nice to know we should definitely be able to draft one of those four.

TP for picking anyone over Fultz. I disagree but it's all good.

Why they are fairly equal in terms of ability to score? Fultz is better off the bounce but they are fairly equal.

lol, they are really close. I think Fultz could be the better overall scorer, but where's the fun in that?

I think both project as 25ppg guys.

I'm assuming the the question proposed in the OP is "scorers", with no regards to other skills/abilities (e.g, IT is a "scorer")

Given that criterion, I've got:

Monk
Fultz
DSJ (who I don't like)
Tatum....

Then, a big dropoff.....

Justin Jackson/Sindarius Thornwell/Luke Kennard/Alec Peters

Just as an aside, Josh jackson/Fultz are #1 on my draft board.

TP, KGLL for the poll.

25 ppg is a little steep right now.fultz maybe, Tatum will never get there. Fultz by a mile for me.

Where does Caleb Swanigan rate as a scorer?

Throwback big. Like way back. Nice player, but so darn slow on defense, can't guard a pick and roll so probably won't get a lot if minutes.

yeah, I am really high on Fultz, Jackson and Tatum.

I think Tatum and Fultz are both truly gifted scorers.

25ppg is probably high, but I could easily see both guys reaching that level.

Thanks for posing the question, KG, TP.

It's funny, I hadn't really analyzed this draft focusing on scoring. It is worthwhile.

I think Fultz has to project as the leading PPG guy.

I think while Tatum will score a little more than Jackson, Jackson will excel in nearly every other area, that I would still take him ahead of Tatum.

Haven't watched Smith much, but if he is the next Stevie Francis, kid will get his points.
