Word is that Jonas gave an impassioned post game speech to the team. Surprising that it came from him, but hopefully it gets us going. I like Jonas a lot. Plays hard all the time and is a gamer.

Somebody had to do it. We've been downright awful the past few weeks, this is not the way you want to head into the playoffs.

If the seeding stays the same, I just don't have much confidence against Chicago in a playoff series. Not to be pessimistic, but they'll have the best player (by far) and are 4th in the league in offensive rebound percentage. They also play annoyingly slowly.

I'm more scared of MIL, Indy, and ATL (I was before last night, nothing changed, just confirmed my fears).

I don't buy Chicago at all. It won't be a sweep but 4-1, 4-2 without much fight. They are the ideal 1st round opponent.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I don't know if it's been mentioned (not going to go back and read everything) but the Celtics were in the bonus about 90 seconds into the fourth quarter.  I was yelling at the TV for someone to take it to the hoop but seemed like they just kept settling for jump shot after jump shot.

YEP...me too. Nobody ever said BB players had high IQ's...but our coaching staff should have pointed this out.

Larry Bird would win many games, by taking advantage of teams in the penalty...many playoff games too.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

That is one of the downsides of the "shoot only 3s and layups" approach all the analytics geeks love.  It deliberately pushes mid-level and upper mid-level players away from the sort of offensive moves that can draw fouls.

We could have used Tarean Prince last night. Took it to the hoop hard. Who was it who said how good he would be during summer league? Beat LA?

Beat LA said that he was better than Crowder already during summer league. He also said Demetrius Jackson was better than all our point gaurds combined. so.....

Seems like there are not a lot of teams or players who do this these days, even though it seems to me like such an obvious and effective strategy.
