Good for Rondo. It sucked watching him appear to be spiraling down to irrelevance. Getting D-Wade out of there was the best thing that could've happened to him this season.
It's interesting; Butler and Wade have meshed well together by themselves, and Butler and Rondo have meshed well together by themselves, but when you put all three together it hasn't worked so well.
Obviously the issue is neither Wade nor Rondo can really function as a spot up shooter, so when all three are together it hurts spacing. Compounding the problem is the fact Chicago doesn't really have many good outside shooters in general.
It will be interesting to see what happens if the Bulls do, in fact, manage to make the playoffs, since it seems Wade has made it known he will attempt to play in the playoffs if the Bulls make it. I'm assuming he won't be 100%, so maybe he and the team would be best served if he takes a reserve role.
