I dont see it happening. It makes almost 0 sense to me on many levels.

Nope = we are stuck with him through to his next contract. Trade value is too compromised by his contractual situation.

All depends on extension getting done. Same could be said about AB and Smart though.

yeah, I made the poll to confirm that most of the blog didnt actually believe this.

Im hoping to put an end to the "trade IT" stuff by illustrating that its just not gonna happen.

But I suppose with this poll Im only contributing to the mess.

Id do a 3 year max extension and not think twice about it. IT is a top 30 Ayer so he is technically worth the max.

There's a huge difference between "expecting" a trade (which I don't) and "not being surprised" (well, Ainge is Ainge). So why don't you split those poll options?

It can't be ruled out as some factors may decide it: Playoff performance, final draft position, proposals from other teams, IT's attitude towards the future, Bradley and Smart contract status or being traded, etc.

Need to see how he handles the playoffs. How he handles double teams, if he can change his game and still win games. If he struggles and they get bounced in the first round, you'd have to consider he's not worth the max.

Are you saying that you can name 30 (or more) better players? Because IT is absolutely in the top 30, maybe even top 20.

No, he's not a good defender, but he's still a huge net positive

He is going to be a Celtic at least until 2018. What will happen than, probably even DA doesn't know right now. But this offseason, IT stays a Celtic
