Of course you do. That is the Godfather offer. Of course, in the short term, it would probably make Danny so unpopular that he would be seeing oranges everywhere he went.

What team is going to offer one? Especially summer '18 after this new influx of PG's in the upcoming draft and after the cap has stabilized a little and fewer teams even have max space.

Hell no.  Okafor is terrible.  And we already are likely to get the #1 pick in this draft.  There's no benefit for us to load up on lottery picks who won't be ready to play in starting roles for another 2-3 years.
