How would you like that as our picks, assuming the Celtics land the #1 overall pick?

Fultz is just a supreme offensive talent and a complete all around player.  Too good to pass up.

Thornwell has been arguably the best player in March in the NCAA.  He brings a strong two-way game and would give us added depth at the wing SF/SG.  A 3 and D player with intangibles.

Would you be happy with that draft outcome?

I love Thornwell as a second rounder - good shooting touch and looks solid on the defensive end.

Plus Fultz impresses me quite a lot.

Love the Fultz pick. Could care less about the 2nd round pick as that player is probably signing one of the two contracts that means he gets paid NBDL money when in the D League, where he will play the entire season, and NBA money when with the Celtics. Also, I don't see any second round talent from this year that will break into our rotation any time in the next 3 years as the Celtics will most likely be giving Brown, Fultz, Yabusele, Zizic and the Nets 2018 pick chances to make the C's rotation before some major project 2nd rounder.

As an aside, never judge or set high expectations for a project 2nd round talent by a good tournament. You will be sorely disappointed in that player if you do.

I'd think we go with another stash pick with the late picks.

I imagine like two of the seconds will be flipped for a future first rounder. Maybe in 2020 or something? Keep treasuring assets lol. Don't have much after 2019 I believe.

Does Thornwell have any position in the NBA he can defend?  Outside of the Jae Crowder's of the league, I'm not sure who I see him defending well.
