was surprised at how lopez was knocking down threes
i think he is at 35% now but was higher when i looked and he is staying healthy, another knock
so how does a player like lopez respond to a trade after years being with nets?-
can he play defense in modern nba, if motivated?

I don't understand this post, it's old news. Really, really, really old news.
The Nets announced, once Kenny Atkinson was hired, that chucking up threes was going to be a huge part of their offense, in the "Motion Offense".
Brook Lopez was going to be expected to spot up also, which he has done all season.

Actually, so is his brother. Robin is stretching his game in Chicago.

It's pretty much like this league wide. Celtics, Spurs, Nets, Nuggets, etc. all have bigs who can shoot and spread the floor

As another poster mentioned his game has included a three for a while now.

I call it job security, if you are a big you better be able to stretch the floor, if not your game is archaic in todays NBA. Marc Gasol has also acclimated to this trend.

it had to do with his value as a trade and its possible effect to next years draft choice-the nets are hustling, lopez has been healthy and and playing like he cares
the time i noticed lopez, he was nailing threes against us the next time i checked he was hitting 40%, had good form and wasn't tentative
-if you don't see my point, as to his trade value or next years nets team and its possible value to this year pick to ainge-old news can bite you in the butt

I think it's good to keep in mind as Brook Lopez could be option C or D for Ainge.

Nets probably would have shut him down this year. Supposedly he is very close to becoming the all time leading scorer for Nets franchise, about 130 points away, and he seems motivated to get that.

They will try and trade him in the off season.

That's if the Nets FO hasn't blocked Danny's number already.
