Last year Danny let go of David Lee and signed Cody Clarke. After two 10 day stays he was not resigned. Then, they signed John Holland to a contract. Neither signing proved to be significant.

This year nobody was picked up at the trade deadline. A number of us griped because there were good players available for what appeared to be a reasonable cost, but nothing happened. In the long run this may prove to be a good decision. For this season, it may prove costly.

We could say that Danny made his mid-season move at the beginning of the year in picking up Gerald Green. Still, I wonder if he's using his plethora of 2nd round draft picks wisely. Should he consider trading them for established players during the middle of the season?

This topic feels a month old and thoroughly rehashed.  That said, I point you to the frequent updates of Abdel Nader as evidence of whether or not Ainge is properly utilizing late 2nd-rounders.
