6'8-6'9 sf

He kind of has a body like Durant. Moves like him also. But not as explosive leaper.  Not at the same level....

But has made significant improvements in his jump shot from soph to this season... Overall gives good effort, smart, has known to be clutch at march madness tourney.

Thoughts?

My thoughts are he is not and should not be on the Celtics radar, even if everything (and I mean everything) goes wrong and we pick 6th.

I would think he'd be a great pickup with our Minny 2nd, still seeing some mocks with him in the early 2nd round.  Certainly not a lottery pick imo.

I doubt he will be on the Celtics radar with the Nets pick.

He has also played too well to drop to the 2nd round

I thought Jackson had a good game.  His defense on Monk was relentless and excellent, and I think exposed how Monk might struggle against length at the next level.  His shot selection was suspect at times, to say the least, but the team as a whole was struggling offensively as well.

Great game with a wild finish.

very good tonight again

He just loves this time of the year

If Danny moves down, I hope he considers Jackson

Like a Tayshuan Prince but a more fluid jump shot

He is a third year player...so has adv

but it has been good to see him build strength/jump shot each season....   dependable jump shooter now...and can get hot

due to his quickness/agility... could play SG at the NBA level.    Prob his best bet first couple of years in the league

Seems like a solid late first round pick in a loaded draft.

For strengths, he has nice size and length for a SF, shooting (3s, mid-range, beautiful floater), can guard multiple positions, willing and solid passer, high BBIQ, fair ballhandler.  I've also read that he's a good, hard-working kid.

But far from flawed: Doesn't move well-laterally on defense, lacks athleticism and explosive first step, and needs to add a lot of mass to effectively guard NBA small forwards.

Danny isn't moving down. This isn't the NFL draft

I'm guessing you've seen a lot more Tar Heels games than I have, but I've been very impressed by his perimeter defense in the tournament.  Gets matched up against the other teams best scorers and his length has made a difference.

Exactly. Silly to suggest otherwise.

He's 22 years old and there are several 19-year-olds who are better than him.

No thanks!
