Zeller has gained 70 pounds of muscle and has increased his R.I. (rage index) by a factor of six.

He's the cheapest third string center in the NBA and he is our third string center.

The Cavs and coach Lue are terrified of Zeller...because he's a freek.

Kelly can't be on the floor without either Horford or Amir. He just doesn't function well as the only big on the floor. He's attacked in the paint by the opposing teams offense, and given the added responsibility of rebounding, blocking out, and protecting the rim. Not really his strong suit.

Zeller actually plays well with KO, leaving Kelly as a scorer, and playmaker. Zeller also gets wide open shots while KO is on the floor, while being the primary defender in the paint. In short minutes they work well together. While not being a very physical duo, both run the floor well and have decent pick and roll skills.

All while giving Horford and Amir a few more minutes on the bench.

I think this is the best aspect of Zeller's recent form boom. A decent big man pairing behind AJ and Al will be crucial in the playoffs - lets just hope that he can maintain it.

Didn't he have streak like this earlier in the season? I think he just needs a kick in the behind from time to time.

He's been putting up good effort. Before he scores like 10 or so but I do not feel happy about his performance. Now you can see the 2014 version, fighting for boards, contesting on D. No trace of that lazy play the last 2 years.

And he's up for a new contract this summer which explains the rejuvenated motivation

I feel like that's an easy scape goat.
He was up for a new contract last summer too...

Zeller's dad was sitting courtside near the basket in a Green top---maybe Tyler wanted to show off for pops.
