it was nice watching brad coaching jaylen on the bench
in a way, marcus getting on him for free lancing was part of that chemistry of knowing what the other guy is going to do
marcus even ran the play again with horford who scored
brad getting zeller some minutes and playing bradley more
yabusele having fun while, rehabbing at waltham and being front row for these home games

What did you expect from Stevens? He's the coach.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Huhhh...I thought that's what he's supposed to do.

I am guessing what Rollie is referring to is Brad and Brown caught on tape during the game.
It was nice to see and NOT something you see often during games.

I think there should be a thread if he DIDN'T do that. You making a thread on this is the equivalent of a player working on his shooting. That's their job. That's their responsibility.

Rollie making observations and having a place to express them, I like it.

Negative Nancys making snarky comments, not so likable.

Thanks for the post Rollie, I didn't catch that during the game.

Coach Bo won't like it, he hates everything. (remember the old mikey/Life cereal ad?)

I noticed that too, and I liked it for two reasons.  First, Brad using garbage time more productively than just cheerleading and working with a young player to bring up their game.  Sure, this is his job as the coach, but you don't often see it happen during a game.

Second, Brown looked like he was eating it up, which is awesome to see.  So many of these guys think they are perfect and look disinterested when a coach talks to them.  Jalen looked like he was in his favorite class at school.  Brad also looked like he was enjoying the chance to work on a player's development.

I saw that, too, Rollie, and had the same reaction.  Yeah, that's part of Brad's job, but was nice to see. How often do you see a player sitting next to his coach during a game with the coach explaining something. Rarely. Most times the coach is trying to work the refs, pacing back and forth on the sidelines, or yelling at the player as he goes to the bench.

Yeah, that's part of his job.  But it was refreshing to see.

Thanks, Rollie, for pointing this out.  TP.

to be fair bo has been better as of late and has posted some supportive comments. let's give credit when it is due.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

OK. But this isn't one of those times....
That being said, when his comments are constructive rather than destructive and belittling, I like them and often agree with them.

Btw, it would have been nice had you posted a link to that segment of the game.

a banner moment for me and some of you guys saw it too-
