I dont even think that is possible. What are the rules for trading a player with an upcoming player option?

Throw in Bazemore, Howard, Hardaway Jr, and Schoeder and we'll think about it..

Well, it's a good thing he's on the sideline calling games and not in the front office, then.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I think that finals MVP went to his head.  He's overrating a jack of all trades hard working glue guy as the key to winning this team a title, kind of like his role on the '81 C's.  Either that, or he crazy.

I had to watch it twice to make sure I heard him correctly...and yup-If he had the no.1 overall pick in this year's draft...he would trade it for Millsap...hahaha.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Some of these poor guys just have zero clue unfortunately.

But this is straight up idiotic.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Did we need further confirmation that Max is an idiot?

Yes, if I had my choice in their prime, right now, between the two players, I would take Dirk. I’m not kicking at Larry, Because I think Larry..Larry was one of the greatest players to play the game. But again, If I had just pure physical ability, and if you take it from top to bottom, well, you tell me, what does Larry do better than Dirk does?

lol

I don't think anyone here needs someone to list all the skills Bird had that were superior to Dirk. Someone should sit Cedric down and enlighten him, though.

Wow. I can't believe anyone actually said that with a straight face, unless they literally knew nothing about Larry.

I still say the only Paul I would trade the #1 pick for and never look back is Paul George.

I think it is an extreme overpay for one year. Unless he agrees to an extension as part of the deal no way do I give up the 1st pick.
