Thank God. The #1 overall pick right now of the 2018 draft withdraws from Washington where with Fultz they didn't even make the tournament.

If any body has heard any news where he wants to go now. TP for an answer.

I think it is great that he decommitted. It sucks when you cant see as much of a good player because his team is bad in college. Imagine Fultz on a team like Kentucky, Duke or even Michigan?

Rumors are saying that he will end up at Missouri. His dad is supposedly an assistant coach there, so it would make sense in that regard.

Apparently a big reason for this change of heart was his dad being fired from the Washington coaching staff, along with the head coach. I'd love to see him at Mizzou.

Kind of a short sighted move from the schools perspective.

That's a TP, but I hope he goes to a bigger program than that.

At what point does the NCAA stop allowing schools to offer assistant coaching positions to a player's relatives for purposes of securing a commitment?

It's exactly the opposite. Why keep a failing coach just to retain a top recruit when the guy will only be there for a year anyway?

he was a coach for Missouri's women's team for years before joining the men's team for next year. So not exactly the same thing you have issue with.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I understand that Romar was extremely popular among players, but why the heck was Romar so popular among players? He's consistently been unable to get the most out of elite talent.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Yeah, but he was hired as an assistant coach at Washington, probably to get Porter Jr.'s commitment.
