Doesn't matter what yall think. His daddy already said he is not signing with any team not named the Lakers. So Boston does not have to worry about he Balls.
Except 1, thats not how the nba works. You play for whatever team drafts you, and 2, his father said he was just kidding

The Celtics already had an issue with drafting a guy who didn't want to play for them. Jon Barry way back refused to sign and sat out the season. He was eventually traded to the Bucks for Alaa Abdelnaby.  His father coincidentally was former NBA star Rick Barry.

Gotta love the ESPN echo chamber at work with Bell.  You got critics on ESPN shows complaining about him getting all this attention then you have him on other shows like FirstTake & Sportsnation.

Way to artificially create a news cycle.  Media in 2017.

Lavar would crush Rick Barry in a free throw shooting contest ;)

Yes. Lonzo Ball will become/became a target for everyone all thanks to LaVar Ball's idiocy.

Jaylen has been averaging around 17 minutes a game this whole season.

Can you imagine if Lonzo comes here and gets similar (or even less minutes).

His dad would put on a circus and drama show saying the C's are "disrespecting Lonzo" and "costing him $$ and sponsor deals" and that they should play him a ton of minutes.

Might not sound like much but it could create some unnecessary drama for the team and the locker room, and maybe even some negative vibes.

Honestly, I'd kind of like to see this kid get blackballed from the NBA (I know - it'll never happen, the kid is too good).

Screw him and his moronic father.

Nah.

Dad's ego isn't Lonzo's fault.  Though he will probably pay for it in some ways.

I understand screw the dad, but why would you say screw him? Seems like a good kid, and he plays the right way

Nope.

Off all the things that could make me worry about an incoming rookie, a loud, look at me parent is low on the list.

Rather that then some of the other things we have seen before.   (Lazy attitudes, inability to stay away from substances banned in the NBA, assaults.   Talking all sports)

It's too bad that as Lonzo plays better, his dad becomes louder.  Such is life I guess.
