Avoid this kid like the plague.  He has Stephon Marbury written all over him.

Won't matter...we'll get the 6th pick.

I thought the worst we could get would be the #3. We can get as low as #6?

Barring Brooklyn learning how to play basketball in the next four weeks, the worst we can finish is 4th.  The top 3 picks are decided by the lottery, so if we strike out there, we're 4th.

If the Lakers lose every game and the Nets went like 9-8 over their remaining 17 games, we would at worst get the 5th pick.

Also, I don't think Lonzo Ball is a top 2 player like everyone else.  I am almost completely against drafting for need, but I think he would tank with our current players.  Fultz, Jackson, Tatum or Isaac would have to be the pick and I'm basically sure we are getting one of them.

Fultz or bust.

He seems a kinda mature guy so if he managed to not be a complete jerk with that kind of a father... Yes, it changes my opinion about Lonzo... Positively. It means he has a strong character.

Though I am already high on him so I'm biased.  ;D

None of this actually matters since there's 100% chance Ainge will take De'Aaron Fox out of Kentucky.

Here's the scoop on him from theringer.com

"size with über-elite athleticism and Fox is a dominant player at the college level. He gets to the rim at will, and his reach and unbelievable lateral quickness allow him to take over games on defense. … Fox has everything NBA teams are looking for in a point guard — except the ability to shoot."

I don't get it.

Brown shoots well.
Yabusele shoots well.
Zizic shoots well.

What is your point?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Jaylen Brown's Shooting Numbers in College:

 FG%   3%    FT%
 .431   .294  .654

Yabusele and Zizic aren't even in the NBA...

Fox is one of my favorites in this draft but he's more in the 5-8 range.  His mid range shooting isn't bad.  His overall 3pt shooting is still poor but he's 7 of 12 in the last 6 games.  I'd definitely take him over Dennis Smith.

not sure if the father would cause me to shy away from picking Ball if he was BPA when we picked but I've encountered/heard 2 other fathers with talented kids talk about big paydays and it hasn't exactly worked out too well for their kids-->rushed into the draft when they could have clearly used another year in school

MCW - was a hollow ROY award that year and the father was banking on the kid providing for his family such that he was looking to quit his job
Ricky Ledo - kid had a chance to develop at PC but they supported him while he sat out his first year due to eligibility issues.  Father pushed the kid to declare for the draft banking on him being a star and providing the family with a life of wealth.  real scummy when I saw that interview.

I think he is trying to say Danny likes PGs that cannot shoot. Shrug.
