Hard to see him ever living up to his potential now.

Heck, he'll probably be lucky to have any sort of career at all going forward.

Can't say I'm upset about it either. Parsons always struck me as a bit of a pompous jerk.

It's a meniscus tear, this one may not even require surgery. I'd be less optimistic if it was ligament damage. His game also doesn't rely on a ton of athleticism. I think he can comeback and be a fine player, not an all star but an impact guy.

At 23+ million per year each year going forward, that's a cap killer to be paying for a non allstar.

He was far from an allstar this year . Before injury.

My lasting memory of him will always be when Lillard absolutely embarrassed him on the series playoff winner.  How could anyone believe in a player that gets tricked like that....

This reminds me earlier this year, Parsons wishing the Blazers luck in the lottery... McCollum responded saying they already won the lottery by not signing Parsons.  haha

Chandler Parsons ✔ @ChandlerParsons
@trailblazers good luck in the lottery show this year✊🏻

CJ McCollum ✔ @CJMcCollum
We hit the lottery by not signing you
