Unfortunate for him and his team. But I'm glad Boston never acquired him.

Hard to see him ever living up to his potential now.

Heck, he'll probably be lucky to have any sort of career at all going forward.

Can't say I'm upset about it either. Parsons always struck me as a bit of a pompous jerk.

Tough break for both Parson and the Grizzlies.

However, on the bright side, GRIZZLIES PICK!

It's a meniscus tear, this one may not even require surgery. I'd be less optimistic if it was ligament damage. His game also doesn't rely on a ton of athleticism. I think he can comeback and be a fine player, not an all star but an impact guy.

Well, considering he was already playing pretty terrible this year, I'm struggling to see how he's going to get better after yet another knee injury.

We'll see.

When is the pick?  What are the conditions?

Could potentially end up being a good pick. Wow. Another heist.  ::)

How does Parsons being done for the season make the Danny pick a heist if it isn't until at least 2019 at the earliest? Parsons should be healthy next season right? So what bearing does his injury this year have on a 2019 pick?
