Somehow I don't think the dude who just got cut by the worst team in the league is going to get rotation minutes here.

The Nets don't need a veteran for the playoffs, but may be able to pick up some young talent that gets let go.

Just don't see how he's a useful player at this stage of his career. Seems miles past it.

Has his talent dropped off a cliff-? Is he injured-?

He looked great last season---I'd definitely take him-!

I posted this in the poll thread earlier: http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=89621.0

I said I think he is a pretty decent Vet Big who surprisingly shoots the 3 ball at 34% this year and 40% last year(shot 161 threes, so decent sample) so he would fit Brad's system. ALSO he would add to our league leading Hair Game

That's how I see it as well. Has something changed with Scola that I'm unaware of? He would be a good journey man pickup for nothing.

He will sign with the Cavs...along with Terrence Jones and Brandon Jennings.

NBA will change the rules and let LeBron have 20 players on the playoff roster.

Do the cavs have secret roster spots or allowed to have 20 players?

Tired of them grabbing the good leftovers

Scola does nothing for us.

I actually wouldn't mind him, more useful than Mickey.

You use him on nights like last night when Olynyk is a no show or when the bigs are getting pushed around and you have to give Johnson a rest. He'd also provide a little depth up front in case there's an injury.  You're getting absolutely nothing out of Mickey so why not?

Yes, unless Mickey is in the future plans ( with Zizic and Yabu coming over next year I can't believe that he is) cutting him and signing Scola for the stretch run might be a good idea. One more guy that can get under opponents skin. Scola is a full on irritant.
this!

I like Scola.

He's a dirty; but hard working player that improved his shot, and managed to scrap well with post moves.

But I have no interest in him, because we should be focusing on other players available first; I would love to try to go after Terrence Jones...
