He's played sparingly this season, but it seems like he's always a pain in the neck for the C's to play against.

Why when I hear Scola I always picture him pinning that greasy hair behind his ears?! Lol
"7ft PG. Rondo leaves and GUESS WHAT? We got a BIGGER point guard!"-Tommy on Olynyk

With all of these threads my question is always, whose minutes does he get?  Olynyk? Jerebko?  Might be an improvement over Jerebko, who hasn't contributed much since  breaking his nose.

I love Jerebko but he should take a seat for the year and get his nose fixed. He can't seem to play in that mask. Scola is a pain in the ass to play against. Scola can do what KO can, plus he has more of a mean streak. I wouldn't call him dirty but he's not soft. If Jerebko has surgery can we get an injured player exception?

I'd take him.

Not a decent player anymore. But even if he was, we wouldn't sign him.. we're too concerned he might take minutes away from softies like KO and the Swedish Helen Keller, Jonas Jerebko.

Imagine a scola/kaman duo ?? Amazing boxout due to sweaty long hair flying around plus sweat bullets...

If you need a rebound in the final minute of a game, you'd trust KO to go get it?.. also, it was  Zeller that gave Horford the concussion and KO dislocated Kevin Love's shoulder while getting out rebounded, because well, he's a bad rebounder.

You use him on nights like last night when Olynyk is a no show or when the bigs are getting pushed around and you have to give Johnson a rest. He'd also provide a little depth up front in case there's an injury.  You're getting absolutely nothing out of Mickey so why not?

Yes, unless Mickey is in the future plans ( with Zizic and Yabu coming over next year I can't believe that he is) cutting him and signing Scola for the stretch run might be a good idea. One more guy that can get under opponents skin. Scola is a full on irritant.
