And another TO for IT, making it 6 for the night with 3-17 shooting.

Pull Isaiah.  End the streak right now.  IT has 17.
I'm with you!

Once again, at least our young guys in Smart and Brown came to play.

Seriously, when does Brad have a talk with IT about forcing shots and trying to do too much? The last half dozen games or so he's let all of this talk go to his head and has been forcing way too much. 3-17 tonight with 4 TOs is just unacceptable for our star player.
When he gets another player who can create their own shot?
tonight he's creating inflated block stats for the other team.  passing the ball around might resolve both issues

Yep. He can still penetrate and kick, which he should've done several times tonight instead of taking it amongst the trees.

He can't kick when he drives into the paint because Atlanta's too long, so he can't see where his players are.  That's part of why everyone stand still when Isaiah drives the lane so he can try to throw it to where he last saw somebody.

This team is screwed if IT has an off night. Offense is nonexistent when he's off. Don't care what everyone says about getting a rim protector. Getting another scorer should be priority number one.

The problem is IT becomes a blackhole if his shots are not falling. Even if there is another scorer, he wouldn't get touch because IT is forcing the issue.
We don't know that. Right now, he's the only one on the team that can consistently score. They are shooting 30%. I don't rhino he has any sort of confidence in anyone else on the team to consistently score.
He needs to trust more his teammates. His selfishness could lead to this team's downfall. Like I said earlier, he needs to learn when to pass and when to take over. If his shots are not falling, play within the offense and stop forcing the issue.

Amen. All of this MVP candidate talk has went to his head and you can tell it has in the last half dozen games or so when he's started forcing way too often.

That certainly seems like part of the problem based on the eye test.  (up until the all star break) IT has been killing it lately, but I honestly want to see IT play some great playoff basketball before driving a truckload of money to his house.

Again, they are collectively shooting a shade over 30% tonight.

You take away IT's 15 MISSED SHOTS and we're shooting a shade under 44%... No excuse for him shooting that much, especially when half of them were forced possessions. He's got to be better if he's the leader of this team.

lets be honest, Jae and Horford have had horrible games too.  When IT, Crowder and Horford all look bad, we probably aren't winning.

Team shot like crap tonight, not much else can be said. When Isaiah plays bad, there's nowhere near enough offensive talent on the team to survive.
