I mean, this team loves to play small ball so much, and while it has its perks sometimes, when you play a good, top-caliber team like we played yesterday, we get KILLED by it.

And it's not just yesterday, feels like this is the case in almost 80% of our games this season (absolutely frustrating seeing the opposing team get like 15 extra possessions a game even when we play great defense).

Also, Tucker was traded for 2 second rounders (and had 9 rebounds yesterday). If only we had a bunch of second round picks at our disposal..  ::)

I won't argue for Ibaka though he had a good game too last night (15/7), as Rozier + a Late First Rounder might actually be a bit too much for a rental who only gets us ECF at best.

But while I have high hopes for Zizic in the future, if we're really counting on him to come in and solve all our rebounding problems, then we are in trouble...

And if we get Hayward next summer, then it's likely KO/Jerebko/Amir/Zeller are all gone unless they stay using an exception (doubt it).

So then next season we have Zizic, Horford, Mickey.. then who else???

Wyc is right and I don't blame the team for not "gambling" at the deadline. This team is still TWO STARS AWAY (preferably a scorer + rebounder), and trading a bunch for just one star (Butler or PG13) doesn't help at all.

Okay, rant over.
