Jaylen Brown is the only one who can cover DeRozan

Most of DeRozan's points come from 15 feet and in. He is able to create space with his handle and patience. A guy like Ibake would be good in the interior to be able to defend some of that or at least influence or change shots. Unfortunately, he is on their team. How many times last night did IT get swallowed up inside and not even be able to get a shot off when he normally gets the shots off easily and gets and 1's?

Brad underutilized Brown last night. You could see early on he was feeling it. He would have had 20 plus points last night if allowed to play more. IT was off last night, agree with poster who said he looked tired. He should have played less. Team needs to start working to get the ball to Brown more when he is in the line up. It's pretty obvious he is the only guy besides IT able to create his own shot, due to his incredible athleticism and quickness.

JBs defense on Derozan was the brightest spot from the last night. It makes me feel more calm anticipating that series in the playoffs. Kid has a lot of potential, lets hope he fullfills it.

Based on this performance tonight and the fact that the new additions in Ibaka & Tucker who barely have been with them long enough to know their offense & defense - I am very afraid of this team. They didn't even have Lowry. They will kill us in the playoffs like I see them winning in 5 games. But we want to keep all of our assets even the second rounders because we need to stash guys overseas for future years because ultimately there will be one day when we actually want to win now.

They are better than us now because they just added 2 key pieces. Yes they are 3 games behind us but before last night they were 4 games behind us. I mean it's time to call a spade a spade. If other teams that you are close to in the standings are making improvements for the stretch run and we just sit pat and hope that our guys can handle it then it will be a repeat of the previous years stretch runs where we end up tied with a couple teams in the standings and lose playoff position due to losing tiebreakers and eventually go down in the playoffs if we are lucky in the 2nd round. We are 2-7 combined agains CLE, WAS & TOR. Sorry but I love this team but I can't be positive with standing pat forever.

DeRozan was 4-10 in the first quarter, and we were up by ten when the quarter ended.
Brad should have stuck with the bigger lineup against DeRozan, because most of his points came inside.

DeRozan's a heck of a player. Would've loved to have had Avery Bradley available just to give him a different look every now and then over the course of the game.

I thought the key to the game was when DeRozan sat early in the fourth quarter and we couldn't extend the lead despite Lowry not playing. If we go on a run early in the 4th, DeRozan either comes back in earlier and likely wears down late in the game, or we give ourselves enough of a cushion to hold the lead when DeRozan comes back in when he did.
