Kyle Lowry (right wrist) will not play against the Celtics on Friday night.

Ouch. Coach Dwane Casey said he doesn't know how long Lowry will be out and the team announced he will receive further evaluation over the weekend. Lowry has owned the Celtics this season, but now the Raptors will have to turn to Cory Joseph as their primary scoring one. Although, it is certainly possible Delon Wright or Fred VanVleet get the start. DeMar DeRozan should be very busy tonight.

This makes this a more winnable game now...

Finally seeing injuries even out. Just when they had gotten back their key piece in Sully (only to see him go in a trade)

Well, there goes our chance to use this game as a measuring stick. At least we should be able to add another game to our lead over them, though
I'm bitter.

Potentially big, but let's not underestimate them like we did the Kings. Will still be a tough game.

Any word on if Smart or Brown is starting? I'd much prefer Smart to start to check Derozan and not let him get going early.

I never underestimate any team really but I know many do. This just means to me that more emphasis can be placed on playing defense against DeRozan and we don't have to figure out who to put Marcus on. Joseph is no slouch though but he is no Lowry.

Hey, fair is fair. We've been missing at least one of our backcourt members in AB or IT every game against them so far. I'm pretty sure we've only played like 30% of our games against top opponents at full strength. Washington is the same story in that we haven't faced them healthy yet either.

Should be on ESPN - check again unless you are in the Minnesota viewing area.
