Thought this deserved its own thread.

Any interest?

Doug Haller ✔ @DougHaller
Suns plan to waive Jared Sullinger and Mike Scott, both acquired in trades today. They'll sign G Ronnie Price for rest of the season.

I think it's worth a look. He knows the system and he was our best rebounder last year.

we didn't want to give Sully money, so we let him walk to Toronto and now we can get him for cheaper for what we initally offered  ;D

If everybody could swallow their pride, I'd take Sully.

We could use the rebounding.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Sully for the minimum---to help knock out Toronto in the playoffs.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

For what reason? Frustration?

He's better than Zeller / Mickey / Young.

Me, too, but I kind-of assumed it was a 'don't let the door hit you on the way out' situation.  This isn't like bringing Antoine back from Atl - who was gone for a couple of years and continued to be a very productive player away from the Cs. It would be less than a year later and he has been borderline useless.

I think it would be very awkward for all parties and Terrence Jones probably makes a lot more sense anyway.

Just 2 years ago he put up 21/11 in elimination game against cavs. I think he could play well next to either Horford or KO.

I'd take him back with open arms, I don't recall him bad mouting the Celtics. Everyone felt he just couldn't stay in shape, so nobody wanted to risk giving him money. Sully at the end of the day imo is a good kid, if he is waived, I'd take him back, he'd be one of our best big who can rebound and play well with Horford

A good rebounder, a very good passer and an underratedly important factor in our success last season.

Id sign him and cut Mickey.

Not at all unprecedented.  Danny did it with Antoine several years back.  He's going to give you more than Mickey and probably more than Zeller in situations where you'd have to use him.  So I say yes.

But I also wouldn't do cartwheels about him returning.  The guy was a no-show in the playoffs two seasons in a row.

Thats just not true.

He was one of our better players vs. the Cavs.
