Toronto has the C's number.  they have talent as good as or better than what who the C's can put on the court  right now.  if C's and Toronto are 2 and 3 seeds going into the playoffs, I think the C's offseason run ends in the second round.

Epic FAIL! Why did Horford take the game off? Looks like we will be the 4 or 5 seed based on tonight.

No excuses!  Up 17.  Their best player on the bench and we lose by 10.  Pathetic.  Enjoy the road to no where!

Here's the game in a nutshell.

They aggressively trapped IT and we had no idea what to do.

We refused to aggressively trap DeRozen.

It's just that simple.

Mike

I think Brad forbid to double team since he is our coach.

Celtics management obviously didnt care about this season success, but atleast we still have 100 draft picks to stash in europe these next few years.
Well, you're at least half right. It's not just about this season.

I understand we dont want to give away the brooklyn picks.
but we could have upgraded easily using some of our other picks, even if it is for a possible rental

We can still do it though.

What Im wondering is why has Brad gone away from Jerebko-Crowder-Brown. It is clearly better than Amir-Crowder-Brown plus it puts Amir with Smart.

Pj tucker...another ainge Miss with 9 rebounds.  I hate being right

You're not right. Confirmation bias lol. We aren't like the Raptors who are pressed into making moves to contend now. They don't have many outs like we do.

Also, Terrence Jones, who is a better player than Tucker, is available.

Pressed into moves?? He cost Sully and like two second round picks. That's easily a cost you pay to upgrade this team.

People act like any move would've cost one of our main assets, which just isn't true. Even Ibaka wouldn't have cost anything substantial, but Danny is in love with Rozier for some ungodly reason.

What is sad and pathetic is that these guys gave almost their all.  They put up defensive effort they haven't this season.  And we still lost.  This is basically the revelation of what is to come in the playoffs.

Morons on this board needs to shut tha **** up.  I'm looking at Danny Ainge aplologist morons.  Here is your future.  How is that moral victory?  Taste good?

This is not the team you will see in 2 years.

If we don't get rid of Ainge, this is the type of team i'd see in green in 7 years.  Morons don't see past what is right in front of them.  I'm glad i'm not one of those.

Really? No improvement if we get a top 4 pick two years running?

Ask yourself, with Cousins in the midst would this game be this close?

Not even.

Rather than gloat, it makes me sad.

Didn't Cousins lose by 30 points last night?

The usual loser's deflection.  Last time i checked, Cousins didn't play for the Celtics.

Well? Did he or did he not?

a rental of who exactly?  who is the miracle player that could be had for less than Brooklyn picks or gutting the core of the team that would make us significantly better where we actually contend --> because that's the only point in 'renting' a player.

Jerebko was awful tonight. He was toast on every defensive rotation

People are having knee jerk reactions.

The Celtics played pretty good tonight and I honestly the Raptors just hit everything down the stretch aided by some real home cooking.

Wow, We are still 2nd in the East with the top chance for the #1 pick in the draft and people are bummed out we didn't get PJ Tucker so we can beat the Raptors in a regular season game?
