Woj: "Boston is not close to a deal for either Paul George or Jimmy Butler".

Haha I can just imagine Danny talking to the press after the deadline: "We tried".

Meh...Feel like the price is too steep. Probably will have no movement and they just end up picking a top 3 pick

yup, seems like nothing is going to happen.  this all seems more like talk at this point.  Maybe DA really does value the 2017 nets pick, smart, crowder, avery more than we all think?

Don't see anything being done. Boston gets maybe to the EC Conf finals, drafts a Jackson, Fultz and signs a FA...that is probably the plan..

Guys like Zeller, Amir, Jonas, Young, etc gone

Yawn.

Woj was the last person to find out about Horford.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

I don't expect anything today. The best time for a trade is draft night, a trade in principle to happen after the moratorium. It's the best way to manage our cap long term as it would allow us to renegotiate ITs contract first

Ainge will be on Sports Hub tomorrow at 9am, by the way.

Boy, is there going to be anything else that happens at the last minute now? Seems like outside of the George stuff, not much is going on, though GMs could start going toward other deals if things start falling apart or coming together.

Still don't see where Indy is getting anything to surround George with. Perhaps that means they've come to the conclusion to trade George and are just trying to get as much as possible before doing so?
